Clive Rainbow - Director, Sales & Marketing
 |
Clive founded the business, now trading as InterAcct Software Pty Ltd, in 1983. Originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant, he worked in Commerce in a variety of industries including Finance, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Service, and Importing. He was Finance Director for Gillette (NZ) Limited, before immigrating to Australia in 1979. Clive then worked in Sales and Marketing roles for Computer Companies in Australia selling large computerised accounting systems. In starting his own business, Clive recognised the need for a Sales and Marketing database (now known as CRM) – as none were available on the market at that time. He designed and created the SAMM system, and soon after included accounting modules to make one of the first integrated business systems (now known as ERP). Clive has continued his involvement in the database design of the InterAcct software application using his accounting knowledge and experience in literally thousands of installations. However, Clive’s main role in the business is now Sales and Marketing. After seeing the inside operations of some very successful businesses, and being awarded the Australian Small Business Award himself, Clive is an Expert in what can be done to make a business dramatically more profitable.
